Vision Mission
The educational objectives of the IT program are as follows:
Vision of Department:
To develop the department into a center of academic excellence by inculcating recent IT trends and maintaining dynamic equilibrium as per the industry needs.
Mission of Department:
To offer quality graduate program in IT to prepare students for professional career.
To promote students for Higher studies and Research.
To provides excellence in teaching, collaboration activities and contributions to society.
Program Educational Objectives(PEOs)
P1. To nurture among IT graduates the requisite skills which will help them to contribute to their personal, professional and societal growth at large.
P2. To prepare and develop IT graduates who will be able to take challenges and lead IT organizations by effectively culminating their overall software and hardware skills.
P3. To prepare and develop IT graduates for multidisciplinary areas by providing strong foundation in the areas of basic sciences, mathematics and to inculcate the ability to utilize recent tools & techniques and skills to prepare them for their graduation & research.
P4. To prepare and develop IT graduates who will understand ethical, social, technical and various business context where their engineering skills will be effectively utilize.
Program Outcomes(POs)
An ability to apply discrete knowledge of mathematics, basic sciences and applied engineering.
An ability to design and conduct experiments as well as analyze and interpret data.
An ability to design a component and system in concern with environmental and socioeconomic constraints.
An ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
An ability to solve engineering problem by identifying and formulating research components.
An ability to utilize high level interpersonal skills to negotiate and communicate with stakeholder effectively.
An ability to use the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practices.
An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.
An ability to understand the need and engage in lifelong learning process.
An ability to apply the logic by conducting various experiments in programming methodology, communication and networking, database management and hardware.
An ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills.
An ability to understand the principles of management and finance in context to professional, business and personal aspects.
Program Specific Outcomes(PSOs)
Graduate will able to identify, devise & solve computer science and Information Technology Engineering problems.
Graduate will able to explore, design and develop software programs.
Graduate will able to analyze & interpret the data and work on multidisciplinary projects.
Graduate who can pursue higher studies or get placed in Computer Science and IT based companies.
