Krushi Aranya Protsaha Scheme 2025, Eligibility, Advantages, Apply Online

aranya.gov.in Krushi Aranya Protsaha Scheme 2025, Eligibility, Advantages, Apply Online is an initiative by the Maharashtra government that encourages farmers to produce trees in the previously neglected forest areas. Here, as part of agroforestry practices, the government rewards the farmer for growing plants along with his crops, making environmental sustainability more productive and ensuring he earns higher income. The government then gives the farmer a share of money they spend to raise, grow, and cater for the trees. This helps in improving soil health, preventing soil erosion, and increasing biodiversity in agricultural landscapes.

Under this scheme, farmers are encouraged to plant various species of trees that have economic and ecological value, such as teak, bamboo, and medicinal plants. The scheme also aims to provide farmers with training and awareness programs to improve agroforestry techniques and ensure the sustainable management of forest resources. The Krushi Aranya Protsaha Scheme 2025 is also helpful for the state’s larger goals of increasing green cover, combating climate change, and improving the livelihoods of rural communities through sustainable farming practices.
